"Back to Cabbage Tree Creek"

The present hall committee are not able to continue their planning activities to hold a reunion of former residents, workers and those interested or involved in the past history of Cabbage Tree Creek due to lack of resources. Because of the difficulties encountered the event has to be postponed indefinitely.

The previous plan was for a dance on the Saturday and a BBQ on the Sunday with a display with
be a display of photos and documents with opportunities for people to have their own historical photos scanned and copied and to orally record their stories about Cabbage Tree Creek.

We still welcome input and suggestions even though such an event is unlikely to occur in the foreseeable future - please let us have any thoughts you have about a"Back to Cabbage Tree Creek".

The existence of this website and the Cabbage Tree Creek Hall Facebook page has spurred interest in such an event and contact has already been received from a number of interested persons, who have agreed to have their names and some details of their history in Cabbage Tree Creek listed below.
